Welcome to Gears n' Tears. To keep the server fun and fair for
everyone, all players are expected to read and follow the rules
below. Violations will be handled by staff according to the
sanctions listed under each rule.

By joining the server you agree to these rules.

1. BE POLITE
------------
Keep cursing to a minimum and avoid insulting others. Respect
other players' space — do not build too close to neighbors
without permission.

  Punishment: 3rd recall = Permanent Ban.

2. NO HACKS
-----------
No cheats, bugs, or exploits of any kind. If you discover a bug
or exploit, report it to staff immediately. Using it for
personal gain will be treated the same as hacking.

  Punishment: Cheats = Ban. 1st dupe = Item removal.
              2nd dupe = Permanent Ban.

3. ZERO TOLERANCE
-----------------
No heavy curse words (e.g., N-word). No racism, racist remarks,
or hate speech in chat or voice calls. This rule has no
warnings.

  Punishment: IMMEDIATE PERMANENT BAN.

4. SOCIAL RULES
---------------
No spamming in chat. Do not send direct messages to staff or
players without permission — use the ticket system for support
requests.

  Punishment: Spam: 2 recalls = 5d Mute.
              DMs: 3 recalls = 2d Ban.

5. ADVERTISING
--------------
Do not share links, advertisements, or promotions of any kind
without asking staff for permission first.

  Punishment: 2nd recall = 5 day Ban.

6. GRIEF & STEAL
----------------
Do not grief or steal from other players. If a creeper or other
mob causes damage near your area, repair the damage and inform
the affected player.

  Punishment: Stealing: 2nd time = Ban.
              Grief: Must rebuild all damage.

7. SERVER PERFORMANCE
---------------------
Do not intentionally or unintentionally lag the server. Turn off
large Create mod factories and other heavy machines when you
log off.

  Punishment: 3rd recall = 1 day Ban.
              Intentional lag = Permanent Ban.

8. NO CHUNK LOADERS
-------------------
Chunk loaders of any kind are not allowed without explicit staff
approval. If you need one for a specific build or automation,
open a ticket on Discord and wait for authorization before
placing it.

  Punishment: Immediate removal. 2nd time = 1 day Ban.

9. NO TRAPPING
--------------
Do not trap, trick, or deceive other players. This includes
teleport traps, lava pits, fake portals, trickery with items or
trades, or any other method designed to harm or grief another
player through deception.

  Punishment: 1st time = 3 day Ban. 2nd time = Permanent Ban.

10. RESPECT STAFF
-----------------
Respect all staff decisions. Do not argue, complain, or cause
drama publicly in chat. If you disagree with a decision, open a
ticket on Discord and state your case calmly and privately.
Staff have the final word.

  Punishment: 1st recall = Mute. 2nd recall = 1 day Ban.

NOTES & DEFINITIONS

  Recall   : A formal warning issued by a staff member,
             logged in the system.

  Mute     : Player is unable to send messages in chat for
             the specified duration.

  Ban      : Player is temporarily or permanently removed
             from the server.

Staff decisions are final. Appeals can be submitted through
the official Discord ticket system.
